Deryk Wenaus

Deryk is the co-founder and CTO of Retreat Guru, a global booking platform that has served over 500,000 customers and grown to $3M in annual revenue. He studied computer science at the University of Waterloo and has built his career entirely from Nelson.

Deryk has deep roots in Nelson’s cooperative and entrepreneurial community. He was a founder of the Kootenay Carshare Co-op in 2001, and later co-founded the original Jam Factory coworking space on Baker Street.
