Sydney Black

Sydney Black is the Executive Director of the Nelson & District Arts Council, where she has championed accessible arts programming and community engagement since 2016. She brings over a decade of experience in arts administration and theatre production, including leading Black Productions and co-founding the Nelson International Mural Festival. Active across multiple community boards including Intercultural Kootenays and the City of Nelson’s Cultural Development Committee, Sydney is deeply invested in Nelson’s creative culture.
